Social Networking patent?

Now I truly believe you can patent anything. Methinks Friendster is looking for a means to resurrect a dying business model. I suppose they lost all of their residents to myspace ;)

This is truly a sign that the patent system may be slipping a bit. Now you can get a patent on a social network? Please. I guess I should patent my son's play group. After all, i discovered it. I set it up. I put in all the hardwork. Maybe I will stop other parents from starting play groups unless they pay me a license fee! Gee Wheez! What next?
